The closed beta for Ghost Recon: Wildlands will run February 3-6, Ubisoft announced today. It will be available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC, with pre-loading becoming available on February 1.
You can sign up for the closed beta here on the game’s website, though there are no guarantees that you’ll get in. If you do, you can invite up to three players on the same platform to the beta.
The Wildlands beta includes the province of Itacua in a near-future Bolivia, which is described as “flourishing and mountainous.”
“As Ghosts, players will work together to take down key members of the Santa Blanca drug cartel as they dismantle the criminal organization,” Ubisoft said in a news release today. “Similar to the full game, all the content in the closed beta will be playable with up to three friends via four player co-op or in single-player.”
Wildlands contains the largest open world that Ubisoft has ever made–you can see the game’s massive map here. Wildlands launches for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on March 7, 2017.
In other news, Ubisoft has announced a live-action short film set in the game’s universe. Called War Within the Cartel, the movie was produced by Roberto Orci, who wrote the screenplays for Star Trek and The Amazing Spider-Man 2. The movie stars rapper and actor TI.
