Not long after the game itself debuts, Capcom plans to offer a free piece of Resident Evil 7 DLC sometime this spring.
According to Japanese publication Famitsu (as translated by Gematsu), the DLC is called Not a Hero. It’s described as a short story scenario separate from that of the main game’s protagonist, Ethan. Further details were not revealed.
Capcom has already revealed other DLC for the game, including the preorder bonus Survival Pack that unlocks in-game items and an additional difficulty mode right from the start. A season pass is also on the way with additional, more meaningful content. A Steam page for it states two volumes of something called Banned Footage (which come to PS4 first) and another story episode are on the way, though specifics remains unknown.
