Ghost Recon: Wildlands Getting Live-Action Film from Star Trek Writer, Watch a Teaser Here


Ubisoft has announced a live-action film set in the world of its new open-world title Ghost Recon: Wildlands. The story will highlight the game’s Santa Blanca drug cartel and has been produced by Roberto Orci, who wrote the screenplay for Star Trek, Transformers, and The Amazing Spider-Man 2. It also stars the rapper and actor TI in the role of Marcus, a Santa Blanca member.

The 30-minute short will premiere on Twitch on February 16 and will be made available on Amazon Prime video immediately afterwards. Take a look at a teaser below.

Ghost Recon: Wildlands is set in Bolivia and centers around the Santa Blanca and their threat to the US. The game recently got another live-action teaser, featuring a cat, for some reason.
