Operation Dust Line, the next expansion for Ubisoft’s team-based shooter Rainbow Six Siege, will launch on May 11, the developer has announced. While you’ll have to wait until then to play the content, Ubisoft will show it off this coming Saturday, May 7, on Twitch. You can watch a teaser right now:
As announced previously, Operation Dust Line comes with two new operators. The first of these is a Defender named Valkyrie, who is a SPAS-12 shotgun-wielding character who can deploy sticky cameras. These can be attached to any surface and are then accessible by any of her teammates.
The other character is Blackbeard, an Attacker who has a shield mounted to his weapon, making him an ideal front-line character. He’s also got a Desert Eagle at his disposal.
Season pass holders will get access to the characters during the week of May 9, which is a bit later than expected due to the delay of the previous update, Operation Black Ice.
This Operation takes the game to the Middle East, as you can see in the teaser video above. As for the operators, you can see what they look like in the image below.
