Nintendo has released a new advert for its upcoming Switch console, giving us more glimpses of games like The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Mario Kart 8: Deluxe, Arms, and 1-2-Switch.
The trailer, which you can watch below, also highlights the console’s portability, showing us people taking the device on planes, on holiday, and to skate parks. The video looks to be an extended version of a previous ad, as it features the same lecture theater and toilet scenes.
Nintendo Switch launches on March 3, priced at USD $300/£280/AUD $470. The console’s touchscreen was recently shown off for the first time, using Skylanders Imaginators. The toys-to-life game is one of the seven confirmed Switch launch titles. The other six are: 1-2-Switch, The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth+, Just Dance 2017, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, I Am Setsuna, and Super Bomberman R. For all the games confirmed to be coming to Switch–but not necessarily at launch–take a look at our roundup.
The Switch launch lineup could continue to grow between now and release in March, but it’s unlikely there will be as many launch titles as there were for Wii U, which had 23. Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime recently spoke out to stress that launch is “not the be-all and the end-all.”
