It looks like a Pillars of Eternity sequel is on the way.
Obsidian Entertainment (Fallout: New Vegas, South Park: The Stick of Truth) today heavily teased the game on Twitter, indicating that a full reveal is slated for 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET. Check out the newest teaser below; it shows a portion of what it presumably the game’s logo.

After raising more than $4 million on Kickstarter, the first Pillars of Eternity was released in March 2015 for PC. GameSpot’s review scored it an 8/10.
In February 2015, before the first game was out, developers at Obsidian started to outline their plans for a sequel. At the time, Obsidian said it was considering heading to Kickstarter again for the sequel.
