GameSpot — 7/10

“Poochy & Yoshi’s Woolly World gives you what you put in–it can either be almost frustratingly hard for a determined collector or a good fit for someone who’s just looking for a fun, relaxing few hours of platforming.” — Kallie Plagge [Full review]

IGN — 7.1/10

“Poochy & Yoshi’s Woolly World remains one of the cutest games around. Even though most of the tactile charm of the Wii U original has been lost to the 3DS’s technical limitations, there’s still plenty of fun to be uncovered in this colourful and often inventive platformer.” — Daniel Krupa [Full review]

Game Informer — 8.5/10

“If you skipped Woolly World on Wii U, Poochy & Yoshi’s Woolly World offers what is essentially a straight port. It doesn’t feel downgraded, even if the visuals aren’t quite as sharp. Exchanging co-op for the dedicated Poochy auto-run levels and a better Mellow Mode is a worthy trade. Woolly World is still the best Yoshi’s Island game since the original, even on this less-powerful platform.” — Kyle Hilliard [Full review]

GamesRadar — 4/5

“There’s genuine joy to be found in Yoshi’s Woolly World. Under that charming knitted exterior, there’s an inventively solid platformer that’s bound to melt even the stoniest of hearts. While Wii U players might not have much they haven’t seen before, this woolly dinosaur fits like a adorable knitted glove on 3DS and makes for a perfect pick up and play experience.” — Louise Blain [Full review]
