Resident Evil 7: Biohazard is the latest entry of the long-running survival horror series. Rather than focus on the more blockbuster action stylings of recent entries, the game re-embraces the haunting, atmospheric terror of earlier games. It puts you in control of Ethan Winters, who is looking for his missing wife. His search eventually leads him to a derelict plantation mansion owned by the Baker family, a group of murderous psychopaths that attack and imprison him.
With the game finally out, we’ve compiled our most important features, guides, and videos detailing everything you need to know about this horrifying new entry.
The Review
“By the end of the campaign, I was ready for the game to be over, but that’s okay. RE7 ends just as it starts to outstay its welcome, and after the fact, I felt like I’d survived a truly harrowing journey. The boss fights may be slightly inconsistent and certain sections might drag after a while, but RE7 is still a remarkable success. It has a clear vision and executes it with impressive patience and precision. By returning to horror, Resident Evil has once again become something special.” — Scott Butterworth [Full review]
