Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Wildlands Composer Discusses Inspirations

Featured in a video released by Ubisoft today, Alain Johannes is the composer on the upcoming Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Wildlands. The multi-instrumentalist, known for his involvement with Queens of the Stone Age and Them Crooked Vultures, discusses the influences that have led to his composition.

Johannes drew inspiration from footage and screenshots from the game’s environments, a trip to visit the game’s setting of Bolivia, and rumination on the peace and chaos that comes with the job of being a Ghost.

Wildlands is slated to enter open beta sometime during this quarter, according to Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot. The game will feature a supposedly massive open world. Check out our list of five things you should know before diving into Wildlands.
