What games sold the most on the PlayStation Store for North America in January? Now we know, as Sony today released the best-selling charts for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita, and more.
Leading the way on PS4 for the second month in a row was the dinosaur game Ark: Survival Evolved, which came out in December. It beat out Capcom’s Resident Evil 7, which arrived on January 24. Rounding out the top five for PS4 in January were Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition, Battlefield 1, and Grand Theft Auto V. Despite launching on the last day of the month, Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare‘s Sabotage expansion was the best-selling PS4 add-on during the month.
Job Simulator was the most-purchased PlayStation VR game, followed by Fruit Ninja VR, I Expect You To Die, Kygo “Carry Me” VR Experience, and Batman: Arkham VR.
Moving to PS3, Devil May Cry HD Collection sold the most, followed by Shadow of the Colossus, Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare, Battlefield 4, and Watch Dogs. For PS Vita, MegaTagmension Blanc + Neptune Vs Zombies was the best-selling game, while Dark Cloud 2 was the top-performing game in the PlayStation Classic category.
