Following its release on PS4 in December, Capcom today shared new details regarding upcoming versions of Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3.
First, the game launches for Xbox One and PC on March 7. Both of these versions will be available digitally for $25, the same price as the PS4 version.
On the same date, physical editions of the Xbox One and PS4 versions will be released through GameStop. These carry a price tag $5 higher–$30–and is described as “limited edition” on Capcom’s blog. It features “updated” cover art (above) and an exclusive, 10-page comic.
Marvel’s Sean Chen and Gerardo Sandoval contributed art to the comic, which “tells the story of two colliding universes featuring some of the most iconic Marvel and Capcom characters.” You can check out the comic’s cover below.
The physical edition of Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 is available for preorder now through GameStop in the US and EB Games in Canada. It’s unclear exactly how limited its availability will be.
A new game in the series is also on the way to Xbox One, PS4, and PC this year in the form of Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite.
