Watch First Teaser for Halo 5's Next DLC

Halo 5 is more than a year old, having launched in October 2015. While developer 343 Industries may be looking to the future with Halo 6, the developer is not done supporting Halo 5 just yet, as more add-on content is coming in the form of new maps and more. Now, 343 has released a mysterious first teaser for Halo 5’s next DLC–take a look:

Halo 5 has already received nine free expansions, the newest of which was September’s Anvil’s Legacy. The game’s other expansions included The Battle of Shadow and Light, Cartographer’s Gift, Infinity’s Armor, Hammer Storm, Ghosts of Meridian, Memories of Reach, Hog Wild, and Warzone Firefight.

343 has been teasing the next Halo 5 free update for a while now. All we know so far, however, is that it will add more maps for Warzone Firefight, new Forge canvases, an “improved spectator experience,” and the ability to join live custom games on Xbox One and Windows 10 PC.

The Halo franchise celebrated its 15th anniversary this week, as Halo: Combat Evolved came out on November 15, 2001. Microsoft is giving away DLC in Halo 5 (and Forza Horizon 3) to celebrate.
