Watch Awesome Uncharted 4 Fan-Made Trailer Inspired by Suicide Squad

YouTube’s Robin Solo has put together a cool video for Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End that takes its inspiration from that rad trailer for Suicide Squad released in January. Like the Suicide Squad trailer, this one uses Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody” over scenes from past, official Uncharted 4 videos.

It also riffs on Suicide Squad‘s “Worst. Heroes. Ever.” line. It instead says, “Best. Hero. Ever.” to describe Nathan Drake. Check it out:

Robin Solo said in the video’s description, “I spent quite a time doing this trailer; it was great, even though it wasn’t easy every day. That’s why I’m kinda proud of it, and I hope you’ll enjoy it, an that it will ease the wait, you know, just a little…”

The creator also says they tried to match the “Bohemian Rhapsody” lyrics to the in-game dialogue. One example is when Freddie Mercury sings, “Too late, my time has come,” we hear Nathan Drake say to Sully, “It’s been a while.” Sully responds, “Too long, boyo.” And when the lyric “body’s aching all the time” comes, we see Nathan Drake struggling, clearly in pain.

This video has even caught the attention of Uncharted 4 director Neil Druckmann, who said about it, “Holy moly. I’m quite fond of this fan-made Uncharted 4 trailer.” Sony’s Scott Rohde also chimed in, saying, “That’s incredible! Love it!.”

As for official Uncharted 4 trailers, Naughty Dog recently released the game’s final gameplay video.

In other news about Uncharted 4, copies of the game have started to show up early at some retailers. Additionally, a truck carrying copies of the game was attacked in a “violent assault,” with thieves making off with PlayStation 4 discs.

After years of development and multiple delays, Uncharted 4 is now due to come out on May 10. Since copies of the game have started to emerge in the wild, Druckmann has urged fans to “stay vigilant” to protect themselves against spoilers.
